Zanzibar Association of People Living with HIV and AIDS (ZAPHA+) was established in Zanzibar as a national network for, by and with People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in Zanzibar in the year 1994 and registered in 1996.
A project to strengthen reproductive health education, life skills, HIV and nutrition for young adults in Schools
This is the 3-year project implemented in all 11 districts of Unguja and Pemba started in 2021 under the sponsorship of UNICEF. The main goal of this project is to provide education and accurate information related to the issues of Reproductive Health Education (SRH), HIV and nutrition to out-of-school adolescents aged between 10 – 19 years in the community.
The project for young adults in the community continued well and that young people are enjoying this unique opportunity to learn important things about their health and life.
